Karen S. Angello, Ph.D.
--Senior Educational Consultant at SchoolMatch and Superintendent of the Allentown (PA) School
District. She is the former superintendent of three school districts in Massachusetts, South
Carolina and New Hampshire. She previously served in administrative positions managing staff
development, strategic planning, research, evaluation, migrant education and special education
in Colorado and Montana. She served as a member of the Harvard University Superintendents'

Allen R. Bohl, Ph.D.
-- is the former Director of Athletics at 3 Division 1 Universities: The University of Kansas,
Fresno State University and the University of Toledo. For nearly 25 years, Bohl provided
impressive leadership in athletic program administration in higher education. His extensive
career began as an Assistant Director of Athletics at The Ohio State University. He earned a
bachelor’s degree from Bowling Green State University, a Master’s Degree from the University
of Southern Mississippi and a Ph.D. from The Ohio State University. Dr. Bohl was selected
into the Vermilion, OH, High School Hall of Fame and in 2006 and was honored as a member of
the Erie County, OH, Gallery of Achievers in 2007. He is currently an adjunct professor at
Flagler College, serves on the Community in Schools Board for St. Johns County, Florida,
The Boys and Girls Club of St. Johns County Board, and is Vice President of The Ohio State
University Alumni Association for Northeast Florida.
Richard A. Boyd, Ph.D.
--is the former chairman of the National Assessment of Educational Progress, former executive
committee member of the Council of Chief State School Officers, American Association of School
Administrators and Education Commission of the States. He currently serves as Director of
Education Programs at the Barksdale Reading Institute in Oxford, MS, where he is a Professor
at The University of Mississippi. He is past-president of the Buckeye Association of School
Administrators and served as State Superintendent of Education for the state of Mississippi.
He was Superintendent of Schools in Lakewood (OH) and Warren (OH) and was then appointed
Deputy State Superintendent of Schools in Cleveland (OH). He is former Executive Director
of the Martha Holden Jennings Foundation and holds a doctorate in educational administration
from the University of Akron.
Suzanne Burkholder, PH.D.
--Senior Executive Consultant at SchoolMatch, is a Past President of the American Association
of School Personnel Administrators, Past President of The Ohio State University chapter of Phi
Delta Kappa and the Columbus Mortar Board Alumni. She is a former administrator in the
Mayfield City and Southwestern City School Districts in Ohio. She has served as Interim

Allan L. Forsythe, M.S., M.B.A.

Richard P. Koeppe, Ph.D.
--past president of the Colorado Association of School Executives, has 22 years experience in
superintendency positions including the chief executive roles in both the Denver (CO) and
Cherry Creek (CO) Public Schools. He also has served on the board of the Kent-Denver School,
a private college preparatory school. He served as Professor in Educational Administration
at the University of Colorado at Denver. The past-president of the Denver (CO) Rotary Club
holds his Ph.D. in testing and guidance from the University of Wisconsin, Madison.
Frederic K. Lawrence, Ph.D.
--Senior Consultant for Psychological and Special Education Services at SchoolMatch, American

C. Daniel Raisch, Ph.D.
--Associate Dean, College of Education, University of Dayton and former superintendent of
two school districts, former president of the Dayton Area Superintendents Association and
Western Ohio Superintendent and Principal Roundtable, former chair of several evaluation
teams for the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. He earned his Ph.D. in
educational administration from Miami (OH) University.
Steven M. Sundre, Ph.D.
--currently serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of SchoolMatch and
as a Distinguished Research Professor at The University of Dayton. He is a former Executive
Director of the Accrediting Commission on Education for Health Services Administration,
Washington, D.C., where he currently serves as the elected public member of the Board.
